What we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Last updated: August 2026
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google to create your account. We do not receive or store your Google password.
When you upload a PDF, we store the file itself along with details you provide about it, such as subject, branch, semester, and college.
We don't sell your personal data to third parties. We don't run advertising that tracks you across other websites beyond what's needed for standard ad delivery, described below.
BTechVault may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google's Ads Settings.
We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as whether you've dismissed the app-install banner.
Account and file data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Storage), which applies its own security practices to data in transit and at rest.
You can delete your uploaded PDFs from your dashboard at any time. To request full account deletion, email support@btechvault.in.
We'll update this page if our practices change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
